For Self catering guests at Coolclogher Country House, the well-equipped kitchen is a dream in which every need is catered for. A large, open, country kitchen style allows meals to be prepared and eaten around the family dining table.

A wonderful range cooker with modern extraction hood, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and an array of electrical appliances are to hand. Painted units, wooden work-tops and a traditional style dresser prevent the kitchen looking too modern for such a wonderful old house. The mellow green of the walls is offset by vibrant terracotta coloured flooring and the whole room is flooded with natural light – if not exactly the heart of Coolclogher Country House this kitchen is sure to be a popular gathering point for all the family.

A wood-burning stove at one end of the kitchen is a welcoming focal point, especially after a bracing walk amongst the fields and gardens that surround Coolclogher Country House. Soft easy chairs are just ideal for sinking into while you toast your toes!
